Theatre can show us things about ourselves and others that we never knew were there. It can stagger us with clarity and revelation, forge and change relationships and identities. Over the course of a six-week adult acting class, a teacher and her four students experience the tremendous transformative power of the theatre - games that seem silly, but end up bringing down guards, healing old wounds, and opening some new ones.
For one night only, join us to celebrate 75 years of Showtimers with performances from a few of our favorite shows from the past and a sneak peek into our future season! This is a free event, but seating is limited. Reserve your seat and make a donation to keep theatre alive for everyone!
Late at night, long after being tucked in, The Kid opens up a spooky comic... and a portal to the world of well-known monsters. In this pop-rock concert, the monsters tell their stories of being misunderstood and taken for granted.
Showtimers is a membership-driven, nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a life-long appreciation of the performing arts through non-professional theatre productions and performances that are welcoming and accessible to all. Anyone with a love of theatre and a heart for volunteering is welcome!
